Synthesized full area coverage monolayer MoS2 is highly luminescent and Raman spectroscopy studies also confirm the monolayer thickness. In comparison to full area coverage MoS2 on sapphire, full area coverage MoS2 on SiO2/Si display higher PL intensity.
